My schedule is packed so I am not taking new clients, and have not been for several months now. In addition to serving as in-house counsel, I have legacy clients so-to-speak to manage. So, the notice on my website is accurate and current.

SSL Update

One of the krflaw.net servers is getting an SSL update tonight at 6pm PST (6/28/2011) - bad time, I know, but it is necessary. Should be quick and painless with no interruptions. If there are problems though, send e-mail.

Cell phone only contact on Tues (Apr 5) and Wed (Apr 6); only e-mails marked as emergency will be reviewed on these two days. Normal contact and response times back in effect as of Thursday April 7, around 3am PST.

Fax change

Got rid of the now old fax service, so that number (-4014) no longer works (or will cease working on or around the end of this month). An e-mail is being sent out to clients with a working fax number to be used when necessary. In general though, the preferred method of sending documents would be via electronic mail or upload them to your Control Panel. The goal is to eventually not even have a fax contact point.

Non-Client E-Mail/Contact Response Time

Response time for non-client e-mails/contact messages is progressively getting longer due to the increase in e-mails/contacts. I try to respond within 24-48 hours, but to be safe, I am going to extend my anticipated response time to within five (5) business days.

As usual, I will be hard to reach from Christmas until January 3rd. Best contact method will be by cell phone. Leaving a message or fax will also be better than e-mail as well.

LegalZAP name change...

LegalZAP won't be licensed from Sevik for use as a brand name for my virtual counsel service anymore. I'm just going to refer to my virtual legal counsel service without any particular brand. Sevik will be launching a series of ZAP sites, so I don't want any confusion.

New pricing for limited scope counsel services should be up this weekend.
